Clearly Scrum's growth in popularity finaly convinced Microsoft to go beyond their MSF Agile process template. The standard template felt unnatural to teams trying to do Scrum, due to its use of different terminology like Iteration rather than Sprint, User Story rather than “Product Backlog item”, etc.
Up until now, teams have used the SfTS (Scrum for Team System) a free add-in for Visual Studio Team System from EMC Consulting. Their process template covers more than the new one from Microsoft. But expect to see the Microsoft's one get more and more capable overtime.
